A return to tradition; to the ideas and concepts of the roots. A return to the feeling, that made you fall in love in the first place. A "revisiting" of an appreciation to where it started before we lost our way, and didn't successfully hand down the core elements to the music. That is what Revelations XXIII is. No one is getting killed, there is no celebration of drugs, just....an expression. An expression of REAL feelings, REAL thoughts, and REAL experiences. It is unapologetic, unmasked, and most of all, venerable. I know what circle wants, and even though I can do that, I choose to do what is true to ME. So if that is the way you like your hip-hop, maybe you should give me and my EP a chance.
